In 1979 when we started our business, we decided to deal in special performing lubricants we had seen in USA, which did not come from traditional petrols but were made with unconventional tribological substances. Through the years it has continued developing a wide range of anti wear products for any mechanical application or more sophisticated use.
In the early eighties we thought it was the right time for us to start making the products here in Italy, still using the American background. Our aiming was the customers have to really feel the improvement by using Sintoflon products , which, of course, have been before proven by laboratory tests. We believe to have succeeded in our intent; Sintoflon products are being esteemed by more and more customers which are mainly experts. Where friction reduction is required together with a wear play recovering, Sintoflon products can do their best.
We spend most of our time and energy in research for the automotive sector trying to develop some products which really can allow a longer lasting of mechanical parts together with a rise of efficiency: it is not easy but the reaching of some extremely positive goals are encouraging to continue. Besides have dedicated some time to the industry too where our products are particularly appreciated in those cases where expensive machinery has to be duly protected against friction and wear.
It is known that to improve the total performance of engine besides to use a good lubricant, it is necessary to improve the combustion efficiency as well. That is why we have decided to produce a special range of fuel additives and derivative which really can improve the combustion process thus allowing a rise of performance and a lowering of exhaust emissions as well. At the same time they protect mechanical parts from aggression or early wear and last longer the life of catalytic converters. High beneficial for the environment and for the money pocket.
Sintoflon products are particularly appreciated by the classic car collectors due to the capability to restore their efficiency, in some cases without any engine or gear disassembling. Worn metal surfaces are coated by means of a thin layer which recovers the wear play. Very smooth operating.
Lately some interesting care products have been added to the range, for the shining and protection of the body too.
